Set length of worksheet name

In my macro, what code would I need to have to have all my worksheet names be 6 characters long? (Or any number of characters for that matter.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure exactly what you are looking for but, something like this would truncate all your worksheet names to 6 characters...

Sub Name6()
    Dim ws As Worksheet
    For Each ws In ThisWorkbook.Worksheets
        ws.Name = Left(ws.Name, 6)
    Next
End Sub
