Replace Border Line Colour without adding in new lines (where some are purposefully uncoloured)

Hi Guys,

Bit of a small, unusual issue - but causing me significant additional work in terms of having to reformat to get my information presentable.

So I have exported some information from another system. When the information exports a sample looks like this;
ExportExample.jpg

Now I want to change the Border colour - but I dont want to change the format. IE I want row borders on both sides of row 1, but I dont then want to see another border until the bottom of row 6.

Any of the standard formatting options that I can see result in my placing new lines on all rows - I have a large piece of information I want to present and manually changing each group of cells formatting is going to take me considerable time.

Can anyone help?

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
A number of rows will be empty in most cases - but this can vary from person to person (IE - not everyone works the same number of days in a given week).
