Something Simple that I'm missing

Trying to find if CustNumber exists in FinalNumber column.

CustNumber Column has 150k rows, FinalNumber column has 350k rows.

I have tried Match, Countif, Index, etc. There is clearly a match on the value of A2 (which is 0). It shows up like 8 or 9 times in FinalNumber Column.

Do i have some formatting or something turned on? Excel 2013. I'm losing my mind here.

I want it to say EXISTS or DOES NOT EXIST

=IF(COUNTIF(C:C,A1),"Exists","Does not Exist")

1st row says Exists, the rest are also all Exists. Is something wrong with my auto fill?

set the calculation mode to automatic instead of manual im formulas tab
