I have created an instance of Internet Explorer class from my Excel macro. I can make it visible, but when I try to reposition its window using ActiveWindow.Top ... etc, this changes the position of my Excel window and not the IE window.
When I try to change its position using IE_Instance.Top ... etc, it is postioned relative to the Excel window.
The only way I can change its position so that it occupies ther Left-hand side of the screen is by using the code below:
Set IE_Object = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application") ' Create an Internet Explorer object
IE_Object.Visible = True
x = MoveWindow(IE_Object.hWnd, 0, 0, GetSystemMetrics32(0) / 2, GetSystemMetrics32(1), True)
Is there an easy way to do this. I am trying to show the IE and Excel window side-by-side
