My formula is as follows:

Code:
=SUMPRODUCT(($A$3:$A$17125=$BQ$97)*($N$3:$N$17125<=BS99)*($N$3:$N$17125)*($E$3:$E$17125))

I want to replace the column BQ with another column, say Z.

How can do this?

I tried Ctrl + H (Find and Replace) but that did it to my entire worksheet.

I just want to be able to do it certain cells, eg ones I've selected with my mouse.

Can it be done?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
toggle on the formula view with the ctrl+~ Then you should be able to use ctrl+h
Toggle back the view with ctrl+~ when done

I just tested it out, and if I select a range of cells, and then apply the Find/Replace, it only replaces the values in the cells that I have selected.

Thanks, will try it.

I agree.

I must have selected Replace All.

Thanks

No, that wouldn't have been the issue, as that is what I selected too and it worked just fine.

I did some testing, and the behavior you describe happens if you choose "Within: Workbook" instead of "Within: Sheet".
So I am guessing maybe that was the setting that tripped you up.
