Hey there,

I'm trying to use vba to set a cell value. the cell value needs to be an formula which uses CUBEMEMBER. the last value is a string

the formula I need to set is =CUBEMEMBER("myCube"),"[Geo].[Region].&[01]","America")

where the "Americas" needs to be the string StrRegionName

here is the workbook and cell ref: wsData.Range("G8").Value = "<getting lost with the 2x quote syntax>".

your help is greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Try recording a macro to get the correct syntax, then replace "America" with StrRegionName.

On a side note, it appears that your formula may have an extra ")" after "myCube".
