I would like to use the conditional formatting feature with a custom formula but can't get it to work.
What I am trying to do is to highlight a cell [d2] if it is less than 10 BUT only if cell [d5] is ALSO under 50.

Would any one be able to assist me?
Thanks

It highlights regardless of the cell value.
I think I will try to find a different solution.
Thanks for your help.

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
It highlights regardless of the cell value.

I changed D2 to 10, and it immediately, unhighlighted it, as it should.
It is pretty standard stuff, nothing tricky about it.

So there is something else going on with your sheet.
What version of Excel are you using exactly? Is it a Mac version?
Are these cells you are checking part of any merged cells?

Would it be possible to upload the file to a file sharing site like dropbox? I would really like to see what is going on.

Not an elegant fix but I wrote formula in an unused column to check for the conditions and populate the cell as 1 or 2. based on that I can conditionally format.
Thanks for your help!
