please help with excell formula

As I mentioned, in order for this formula to work, you wlll need to have your two columns sorted, so all the "like" records for a person are in a row.
So first sort your data, with ID as your primary sort and Debtor Name as your secondary sort.

i have just noticed that if the spell of the name is incorrect i would have duplicate ids. Would it be possible to have only on id ?

I am not sure what you mean.
If you have typos, the values will be different, so they will be treated as different people.
I am not sure what you want to do about that, because if the values are different, how is Excel supposed to know the difference between different people and typos?
