Excel formula reverting back to blank once i double click on individual cells

Example=formula=sumif(…), once I click once I hit enter on the formulated cell, it goes to being zero. I could attach a sample file, but I cannot attach it. So example above. Again,
once I hit enter(formula on the total consolidated amount) goes blank.
