using advanced filters with blank/nonblank cells

Hello all you Excel kings,

I would like to know how to use advanced filters to find blanks or non blanks in a spreadsheet.

I have tired all sorts of things, but nothing has worked.

I can pick up all nonblank numeric cells with >1, but <>>1 does not work.

Is there some general formula to find blank/nonblank cells in a spreadsheet?

Anticipating some reply

Should be able to use a computed criteria with the ISBLANK() function.

Hi Richard

For blank cells use: ="="
For non blanks use: ="<>"<p>
