DATE FORMAT QUESTION

I need to format a column in the date format of mm/dd/yy.

I have data that has some as mm/dd/yy but some as m/dd/yy. Can anyone tell me how to make it ALL mm/dd/yy? I tried to format the column but it didnt work.

Sounds like your dealing with text rather than date values.

Select 'em and then use Edit | Replace... to
replace / with /. This is just a trick to
get Excel to re-examine the contents of the
cells and apply the new format.
