whole numbers to decimals

I have a column of numbers representing lengths...for example, 875, 563, 975 etc etc....how do I make this column of numbers into decimals (i.e., 0.875, 0.563, 0.975 etc etc) in one simple move, instead of typing in each one again as a decimal.

Temporarily, enter the value, 1000, into an unused
cell. Copy it. Select the cells containing your
values to be converted and choose the
Edit | Paste Special... specifying "Values" and
the "Divide" operation. Don't forget to clear
the 1000 that your entered are the beginning of
this process.
