Formatting: Splitting Worksheet for separate formats in same sheet

Help Please,
I need to design a worksheet for reporting purposes
There are 5 sections of the report and each section requires different column widths.
Is there a way to split up a worksheet into 5 sections to allow for various column widths?
All sections need to be on the same worksheet.
Also once I make the breaks, is there a way to prevent others from deleting the breaks?

Hi Glen,

Have you tried merging some of the columns ? This could work if it's not too complicated a report.

Also (this is what I use) format your columns as normal as you'd like to see them on all 5 sections then take snapshots of each section and paste them into a front sheet which will be the final layout of your report (I'm assuming as it's just a report, you won't need to link from it per se)

there's a camera icon in the tools toolbar to take snapshots with

hope this adds to your options
Chris

Chris, thanks for the "camera" trick. This is exactly what I needed.
Thanks again, Glenn
