Time: Adding minutes and seconds to create hours. *HALP!*

Thanks in advance to anyone that can assist:

I have a column of cells (A1 - A10) that have different values in them in 'mm:ss' cell format for TIME.

In cell A11, I need to total the cells in A1 - A10.

I've tried the formula '=SUM(A1:A10)'in A11, but still get '00:00:00 1/1/2000' as the value.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do here, and have the cell format for TIME show a final calculation for adding '30 seconds (A1) plus 45 seconds (A2) plus 1 hour (A3, etc.) = 01:01:15' in cell A11?

Format the Sum cell as [h]:mm:ss
