How do I include a % in a formula

(eg) £17.50 x 17.5% x 12months

Tell me how to calculate the above

Convert to a decimal. In your case .175
17.50 * .175 * 12

Is that what you mean?

Dan is correct you do not use percent notation in a formula, you convert it to its decimal equivalent.

You can use a concantenated string to add a "%" to a result which is a percent as:

=(x/y)*100 & "%"

Hope this helps. JSW
