I NEED TO TAKE THE DAILY TOTAL IN CELL B9 AND HAVE IT CONTINUALLY ADD TO MONTHLY TOTAL IN CELL B11.FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN VALUE IN CELL B9 CHANGES FROM 10 TO 20 TO 5 TO -10 TO 13......I NEED CELL B11'S FORMULA TO UPDATE TO READ (38)..(B9)..DAY 1,=10....(B11)=10
(B9) DAY 2,=20....(B11)=30
(B9) DAY 3,=5.....(B11)=35
(B9) DAY 4,=-10...(B11)=25
(B9) DAY 5,=13....(B11)=38

Dale,

First, go to Tools > Options > Calculation and check Iteration and enter 1 in the Maximum Iteration box. Then, in cell B11, enter the formula =B9+B11.

The downside of this solution is that the "Iteration" change is a default system change. But if you don't do a lot of "iterating" it shouldn't be a problem.

enjoy
