Default Date/Time/Filename Footers

A simple question, but I can't come up with the answer. Is there a way to have a custom footer come up whenever you open a new spreadsheet. Or is the only way to create the custom footer on each sheet.

Randy, you can create a workbook that contains the footers you want to have for each new workbook and then save that workbook as a template. For complete instructions on how to do this, search the Help on "Customize the defaults for a workbook or worksheet by using a template". It should come up with an item labeled "Create a workbook template for new workbooks". Select that item and follow the instructions.
