Excel millisecond adding

I'm trying to add minutes, seconds and milliseconds in a contest. I know how to seperate and add, but I'd like to use just one column instead of two or three. Any ideas?

Format your cell as [mm]:ss.000
A millisecond is equivalent to 1/86400000 or
1.15740740740741E-08.

By the way...
It appears that Excel's NOW() worksheet function
only has a precision of 1/100 of a second... So,
that won't be of much use to you!
