Fill in HML form with Excel information

Posted by Bronson C. Elliott on September 12, 1999 7:40 PM

Hello!!!

I want to know if it is possible to fill in an online internet form with
data in an Excel 97 spreadsheet.

For example, lets say I have an online form for music information with form
fields of "Artist", "CD Title", Release Date", etc. And I have the raw data
in an Excel spreadsheet. I want to be able to run some code that would take
the first entry in the Excel spreadsheet and post this information into the
appropriate fields on the online form, submit the form to the online
database (which would in turn refresh the form to blank values) and go to
the next entry in the spreadsheet and start the process over again.

I hope this example was clear enough to get a good idea on what I'm trying
to accomplish here. Could anyone please help me??? I know this is possible
in some fashion but I just don't know where to start to look. Any help
offered would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Bronson C. Elliott
