I want to format a column heading ... in such a way that in one cell only i want to protray two things

eg. Branches\Months

I want this cell to be split into two half's diagonally so that the user reads one heading downwards and the other to the rightwards..

There are 2 ways of doing this...

1) Type "Branches" then hold Alt and press Return to put in a "line return", then type "Months". Draw a diagonal line using the drawing tools. Fiddle about with spacing, row height and column width until you achieve the result you want.

2) Create 2 text boxes. Type "Branches" in one and "Months" in the other. Draw a Adjust Row Height and Column Width, move text boxes where you want them, draw a diagonal line.

I'd recommend option 2 if you absolutely HAVE to have both headings in a single cell, but a better option would be to put "Branches" in A2, "Months" in B1 leaving A1 blank. Trust me, this option is FAR easier!!
