Opening Links - Please Help

6 of us use a spreadsheet that is linked to other excel files ... one person can click in the linked cell and the source file opens ... the rest of us have to use EDIT - LINKS and choose the source file ... we would all like to use the click method but no one has any idea how or why this ONE works differently. Hi Bonnie
Goto Tools select Options then click on the Edit Tab
Deselect Edit directly in cell from the settings.

This should allow you to open the file by double clicking.
