percentage increase

How can you increase the value of a colum of numbers by a certian percentage.

One quick way - is to paste a formula in the column next to the column that has the value you want to increase.
If the column with the existing value is in A, then in column B use the formula =A1*1.1 this will return cell A1 plus 10%.
then you could copy and paste special (values only)over column A.

No need to enter a formula into B1 as Rick M
suggests... just enter 1.1, then do a Copy Paste
Special... Values and choose the Multiply operation.
