security - restricting access

I need to send an Excel file to a customer. I want to make sure that he can access it and use it but want to make it as secure as possible. I know I can password protect it but can you suggest additional steps I can take to prevent copying, etc.? Can a macro be used to set a timer so the file will only run for 2 months? Any other suggestions?

Unfortunately no. A macro could be set up to do that, but if the user is smart enough to get past password protection, then they are also smart enough to get rid of any password protected macros.
