Setting a custom footer

I know how to make a custom footer. I typically use the same footer for each spreadsheet I make. Can I set my personal custom footer as a default or is there a way to add my personal footer to the list of custom choices that excel offers so I don't have to remake my custom footer every time I make up a new spreadsheet.

Hey, Karen.
Try this. Open a new document and create the custom footer as you would like it to appear. Then save that file to C:\msoffice\Office\XLstart. Now, every time you open excel, that worksheet should open. Hope that helps.
