sharing a workbook

Ive just put our order book onto excel, from a manual written book - i have included some data validations. What i need info on is the best way of sharing the book, if 2 people have it open we all need to close down to update the others - which can cause problems with the order numbers given.

Any other tips would be great

You can make the workbook shared by going to TOOLS-SHARE WORKBOOK and then on the editing tab check off "Allow changes by more than one user at the same time".
