Tax items

Hi All,

I'm new to Excel and I'm having a problem trying to create a hidden tax column in the spreadsheet. Not everything on the spreadsheet is taxed, so I need to create a column where I could "check" if an item needs to be taxed and the column would be hidden when printed.

OK, I'm not sure I fully understand what you are asking, but is an idea for you:
1) Have the column where you check if the item needs to be taxed as the last column (or the first)on you sheet, then set the print area to include all but that column.

2) If the column has to be in the body of your spreadsheet (not first, not last, but somewhere in the middle), then you could record a macro that shows you hiding the column and then printing off the spreadsheet. Then you would just run the macro to print each time.
