Three puzzles

I dont know if these can actually be done, but if they can, I would be a very happy boy:

1 You know how you can right click on a cell, then go 'format cell', 'number'. Then you get give some options of how numbers will look. My question is, can you add to the preset list of options ? I have a particular favourite that I use which is not listed.

2 You know how you can protect a worksheet, or a workbook ? Can you protect just some cells on a worksheet ?

3 You can use AutoFormat to access some pre determined formats, which is great. I have one killer format, which is not listed. Can I somehow add it to the list of preset formats ?

1. You can save your desired number format in a
template named "Book.xlt" in your XLStart folder.
This template will then serve as the basis for
all new workbooks that you create.

2. Cells are locked while worksheets are protected.
You can unlock all cells except those that you wish
to protect then Protect the worksheet.

3. See Excel 2000
