Total amount is off by a few cents

I receive worksheets from different companies. When I calculate the totals it shows the exact amount. But when I copy the company worksheets to our own worksheets the total is off by a few cents. Why is this?

How do I avoid the rounding? I need to have the exact total amount.

One way would be to check "Precision as displayed"
on the Calculation tab of the Tools | Options...
menu command. However, beware! Once you check
this option all constants will be rounded to the
precision as its cell formatting. Also, this
change is not reversible.
