Adding Menus through the VBA editor?

Posted by Peter Glass on August 25, 1999 7:20 PM

In Excel 95 there was a nifty icon in the VBA module pages that allowed you to edit the menu bar and add menus - it was workbook specific, so that when you opened that workbook the menus changed to what you had selected.
Does this feature exist in Excel 97? I can't find the icon. Or do I have to write an Auto_Open macro every time?
Thanks for your help!

Peter,
I think this option is not avail.
You will have to create a commandbar that loads
in as you suggested for your workbook via the;
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
& delete it when closing down unless you want
the commandbar buttons avail.

Thanks Ivan....

Thanks anyway for your help Ivan. Since you seem to be the Mr Excel Guru of Guru's, can you give Mr Gates a call and tell him to stop taking away such useful features? ;)
