Problems entering a negative macro on invoice template

I am having a difficult time entering a negative number in the templates for Excel 2000. I have tried using () - Etc. Can someone please help.

I'm not too sure I follow your question. If you've formatted a cell to display parens when a negative number is typed, it will display with parens.

I also use Excel2000 and just tested it-it works fine.
