The main data is the columns A,B and C and then the there's the last column which is the average
and I want to make it look like a line chart (the one in the orange line). can anyone help me? thanks in advance

Hi burndahows

If you were meant to post an image of the chart, it does not appears so it is difficult therefore to know exactly what you mean.

However, based on an educated guess, I try and help.

To change the chart type of a series right click on the series and select 'Change chart type' - select the line chart from the options.

However, given you're starting off with a stacked bar chart, the series will likely extend across all columns, so be mindful about what you are trying to create.

Excel's chart function is very powerful and I've never come across a situation where I can't make it do what I want - but you do have to know a few tricks to get the best out of it.

If you're able to post the chart/data it would help enormously.

Have fun.

Cheers
