3 letter abbreviation for dropdown box

Hi All,
I am trying to link a dropdown box in a form to an action query, but I do not know the 3 letter abbreviation for a dropdown box.

Hi,
Sorry but not sure what you mean. Normally you would refer to the name property of the combobox -- which is at the top of the list in the properties sheet if you view it. That name could be anything, especially if it is not bound to a field in a query or table - often default names are Combo1 or Combo2 ... names like that. If you change the name it may be more appropriately called cboBeginDate or cboPONumber, or the like.

For example, let's say my combo is called cboCutoffDate. Then my query might be:

SELECT * FROM TABLE_INVOICES WHERE InvoiceDate <= [Forms]![MyForm]![cboCutoffDate];
