Hi.

I am trying to create a simple update checker, but not sure how to proceed.

What i got is this: A workbook that is called VData.xlsm, with a button which has me.userform1.commandbutton4.visible = false
Now, what i want, is every 1 min, the file checks another workbook, which is called VUpdate.xlsm, in cell A1, for a new update.

So example, if i type v1.01 in A1 in VUpdate, i want the VData book to trigger, and basicly run a macro: Me.userform1.commandbutton4.visible = true. (basicly, seeing if the value in A1 is changed since last time)

Is there a easy way to do this? Without overcomplicating it?

Edit: Forgot a line.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
