Hi
if I want cell B1 to be like A1 then I type in B1 = A1, that would copy the content of A1 in B1. Can I modify that formula so B1 will have the content and the formatting of A1 as well? Thank you.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Two ways.

Copy A1 paste onto B1.

If B1 is already populated and you don't want to get rid of the info then copy A1 and special paste formatting only.
