I am trying to reference numbers from a data sheet in my excel doc. I need numbers from the same row but alternating columns. Copying the formula downward would result in the following cell references..

A1 -- Data!B4
A2 -- Data!D4
A3 -- Data!F4
A4 -- Data!H4

etc. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

Another option:
Code:
=OFFSET(Data!$B$4,0,(ROW()-1)*2)

Hopfully this link to a screenshot of my data will work. I am trying to sort the data by the score column smallest to largest. I have tried a custom sort of the score column, values, smallest to largest. It will not change the arrangement of the data. Does anyone know why I am having issues?
