Hi,

I wrote a dynamic pass through query and I'm getting the annoying pop up saying that

"This Recordset is not updateable"

I don't want my recordset to be updateable. This is intended. Can it not bother me?

Is there something I can do to turn this messaging off?

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Can you post the code of your query?

Thanks,

I actually tried a different approach with dynamically writing my query and I didn't get that warning message any more. I was updating someone else's code and deleting and rewriting their parts seemed to fix the problem.

If I was to guess about which part that I wrote that fixed this issue... it would be this line

Code:
DoCmd.OpenQuery "Advanced_Data_Qry", acViewNormal, acReadOnly

Sorry, I can't be of more help. I've removed so much of the code that gave me that problem that I don't know what exactly caused it.
