Arial size 8 as default. Should I use macro or is there a better way?

I like to have all my spreadsheets as Arial size 8, many spreadsheets I receive from colleagues and clients as different sizes and font and I just change manually by highlight all and edit.

Should I just use a macro and shortcut key to change this or can anyone suggest a better way?

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I would make an add-in that formats sheet the way you want. This way you always have the right formatting macros with you

You would have tab in the ribbon that you click a button on. Just like you select the font size normally but for this button you have programed it to do exactly all the steps you need in One go.

I did more or less the same thing at work for our accountants, it even grouped copied comments etc.
