I want to assign a value segment to a range of values I have, the value segments and criteria are shown below. Would filter and manually adding these be the best way to do this? Or is there a formula that would work better?

Value SegmentCriteria
500>=250<500
750>=500<750
1000>=750<1000
2500>=1000<2500
5000>=2500<5000
7500>=5000<7500
10000>=7500<10000
Greater>=500<756
Zero0
250>=250<500

<colgroup><col><col></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
you could use VLOOKUP from a reference table or LOOKUP
