Hi All,

Very frustrating problem: the trace audit tools in my worksheet are all greyed out for some reason (trace precedents, dependents). The worksheet is not protected. It does have probably a couple hundred Index/Match functions throughout the book. I've seen people give suggestions about how to fix in 2003.

Does anybody know how to fix this in 2007?

Thanks much,
Andy:eek:

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Do you have more than one worksheet selected? If so the option will be greyed out until you ungroup the sheets

Brett - thanks for your reply. I just have one worksheet selected. I did test your observation in another sheet and see how that too causes it. But, no, just one sheet is selected.
