Calcuating Time

Hi, I am trying to create an agenda in which time for each item needs to be represented in minutes as well as time of the day. for example, welcome address will start at 9 am and go on for 30 minutes.

i am looking for a formula which helps me calculate the minutes and represent them in terms of time.

there are so many changes being made to this agenda, that the rework is driving me crazy.

can you help me accomplish this?

2 questions:
Is the time fixed? every meeting is 30 mins?
Do you have a sample layout of what you want to accomplish?

Can you create two columns named "Start" Time, and "End" Time?

If so, you can add yet another column to the right that can be used to subtract one from the other.

I would recommend Format|Cells|Custom|[H]:MM:SS for all three columns.

If that's not what you need, please give more detail.

Gary, instead I am looking to specify the start time only. as and when the duration changes, the end time should automatically get changed and the start time for the line item below should also get changed.

Honestly i am not so concerned about the end time.

Make a column for end time and use a foruma that adds .000694 x minutes to the start time.
