Can anyone help me how to search the data in column by its keyword???

I'm using Excel2007 and I'm doing a database, i have a lots of concerns and questions, let me start with this.

I have two sheets, the first sheet is the search sheet, then the second is the masterlist. I want to have a search button than can actually search for its key word and filtering the others. (This is searching if filtering by its keyword)

This is the Scenario for example my text box for search is Sheet.range(A1).value
and my search button in First Sheet.

then in my Second Sheet i have my database this are the following data

(collumn 1) (collumn2) (collumn3)
(row1) MS-00 Test One A Mark Twain
(row2) MS-01 Test Two B Sherlock Holmes
(row3) MS-02 Test Two A George Bush


if type a value in my Sheet.range(A1).value and click the search button like Holmes then the whole row2 will appear and the other will be filtered or hide


like this...
(collumn 1) (collumn2) (collumn3)
(row2) MS-01 Test Two B Sherlock Holmes


or if type a value in my Sheet.range(A1).value and click the search button like Two then the whole row2 and row3 will appear and the other will be filtered or hide

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
I created a search function and the easiest way i found was to use a formula in excel to search then have a macro that sorted accordingly. so what i did was that the data needed to be searched was in column P so in column Q2 i put this code in:

the keyword is placed in cell K1

=If(iserror(search($K$1,P2,1)),"0",1)

so what this did was it placed a 1 in column Q if the keyword was in column P

then i created a button that sorted column Q descending then only showed 1's and copy and pasted that as needed.

i like to keep my data in tables so this was all within a table and easy to sort
