Hi All,

When I list my macros using alt+F8 the edit option is no longer available, any ideas what I have done?

Many Thanks

Wow, don't know what to say.
That is not normal.

I have tested setting different Security settings and cannot duplicate your issue.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Sorry I'm late for the party

But you quickly became the life of the party, VoG II

I learned something new today.

Ben,
You must have reasons to make it Shared, don't know why if its only you who have access. But if you follow the link provided by VoG II it's an easy fix. Just tried it myself.

I have just opened a new worksheet & written a macro there. If I alt & f8 and look at the list of macros I cannot edit the ones from my original shhet but when I scroll down to the new one I have just written then the edit option becomes available.

A new Worksheet or Workbook??

If Workbook, naturally it is not Shared.

The issue of your post was not being able to edit the macros in "a" workbook. Have you tried VoGII 's suggestion on the one you had problems with?

Your welcome

And don't worry, it's those little simple things that just get so annoying and overlooked quite often. We all tend to forget at times.
