I have a value in a hidden row that I now want to edit. I protected the workbook structure and the worksheet. No I find that even if I unprotect the workbook and the worksheet, I can't unhide the row! Can anyone tell me what is going on here?

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Have you tried selecting from the row above to the row below then unhiding?

Indeed yes. I also selected rows above and below and made the row height 15 to assure the hidden row did not just have 0 height.

Try running this

Code:
Sub UnhideRows()
Dim LR As Long
LR = Cells.Find(What:="*", SearchDirection:=xlPrevious, SearchOrder:=xlByRows).Row
Rows("1:" & LR).Hidden = False
End Sub

Well, my associate in the office came in and double clicked on the row bar at the hidden row site and the rows appeared. Just for grins I hid the row again and tried to unhide with the unhide command; no luck. Double clicking worked again. Can't figure out what the deal is, but at least now I know another way. Thanks.
