Challenge: Macro to copy certain columns to another worksheet

Hello!

I need some help setting up a code that does the following:

If date A* = january then paste link B*,C*,D* to worksheet 2
If date A* = februari then paste link B*,C*,D* to worksheet 3
If date A* = march then paste link B*,C*,D* to worksheet 4

Where * is any number ranging from 1 to 500

You could you probably use a filter for that, Have you some space or a sheet you could hold a helper column to work the months so you can cycle through them?

Thanks a lot, the hint was sufficient. I skipped the filter, I was thinking too complicated using macros. I now used advanced filter to solve the problem, worked like a charm!
