I'm trying to change a cell, at the bottom of a column, to a different colour once all the cells above, in that column, have a date in. Ie once all the cells have dates against purchase orders, then the cell would turn green and say Completed. I know you can use conditional formatting for part of it but I am losing the will! thanks

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
If your dates are in A2:A11, and the cell you want to color is A12, you could try this:

With cell A12 selected, choose Conditional Formatting -> New Rule, then Use a Formula...
In the formula bar, enter
Code:
=COUNTIF($A$2:$A$11, ">"&0)=COUNTA($A$2:$A$11)+COUNTBLANK($A$2:$A$11)

This technically only checks that every row in your date column has a number greater than 0, but that would include dates since dates are just formatted integers. Will that work?
