charting based on a variable number of points

I have a spreadsheet the produces a line chart based on N data points. N is a value in the spreadsheet . I would like the chart that automatically changes with N. I do not want to do it manually.

Instead of charting the range containing the data, create a new range with formulas in it, formulas that will return an N/A# for the data you don't want charted, then chart that range.
