I have a Workbook with two Sheets containing a xy scatter plot each. Each graph contains about 30 data series and about 1000 points in total.
I know that I can copy/paste one graph area onto the other to do a direct comparison. However when I do this, it standardises all the data series into the same chart type, making it difficult to distinguish between the two sets of data.
What I would like is a way to combine both graphs together into the same plot but retaining different chart types for each graph (e.g. Data from graph1 as xy scatter withmarkers nolines, graph 2 as xy scatter nomarkers withlines). I could manually select each line and edit the chart type but I'd like to efficiently automate the process as I would have multiple graphs to compare..
Is this possible via inbuilt Excel functions? If not, I guess I'll have to resort to VBA...
