Hi Everyone!

Hope I throw an easy one this time. First post.

I am trying to concatenate 2 excel cells that have some text strings in them. I tried all the possible variants that I found in the internet before posting this and are the following:

1. =concatenate(C3,' ',D3)
2. =C3&," ",&D3

To sum up, all I obtained is the formula as I typed it above on the cell where I am supposing to see the desired concatenation.

PS. I am using Excel for Mac v.16

Any comment will be more than welcome.
Thanks!

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
I don't have a Mac, but this should work for you...

=C3&" "&D3

You almost had it except you added some commas that screwed the formula up.

Thanks for reaching, Rick.
Just copied and pasted the formula you passed and no action takes place, jsut reading the formula on the cell. My excel is haunted.

I am wondering if some cell format is bothering...since I tried your example in a clear sheet and actually works.

Hi,

If you see the formula IN the Cell, chances are your cell is Formatted Text, Check cell formatting, confirm it's General, re-enter formula.
