I have the below formula for a worksheet conditional formatting.

=IF(B6="",FALSE,SUMPRODUCT((B6>=INDIRECT("Table1[Start]"))*(B6<=INDIRECT("Table1[End]"))))

im looking to change it to only work if with in table1[Hol] = H.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
May be this

=IF(table1[Hol] = "H,IF(B6="",FALSE,SUMPRODUCT((B6>=INDIRECT("Table1[Start]"))*(B6<=INDIRECT("Table1[End]")))),FALSE)

Slight mistake was there. I corrected it. Please check once again.

=IF(table1[Hol] = "H”,IF(B6="",FALSE,SUMPRODUCT((B6>=INDIRECT("Table1[Start]"))*(B6<=INDIRECT("Table1[End]")))),FALSE)

Try this
In 6th row

=IF(table1[[#This Row],[Hol]] = "H”,IF(B6="",FALSE,SUMPRODUCT((B6>=INDIRECT("Table1[Start]"))*(B6<=INDIRECT("Table1[End]")))),FALSE)
