While delimiting, I chose to import the date+time as text otherwise Excel does some kind of half converting.

Example input 1: 9/1/2017 9:25:59 PM
Expected output: 01-09-2017 21:25:59 (or pc default)

Example input 2: 5/23/2017 7:56:17 AM
Expected output: 23-05-2017 07:56:17 (or pc default)
Therefor I format the cell as: m/d/jjjj u:mm:ss AM/PM
But it does not get recognized as date.

What am I doing wrong?

If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Why don't you specify the date/time format when delimiting?

Why did you choose DMY when the date format is MDY?
